Sunday After
Well the weekend has come and gone. I successfully pulled off the biggest wedding I have ever planned on my own and it feels great. It will be a while before I can get any shots from the photographer, so I will upload a few of my own pictures tomorrow so you can get an idea of the setting as well as my horrible photography skills. More details to come! Enjoy your Sunday night!

The life of a 23 year old starting her own business from scratch...a fairy tale in the making.

Alas, tourist season is over here at the beach, and business sure is suffering. I think I get fewer and fewer customers with every shift. And you know what that means...fewer tips. Time to get creative y'all. So tonight I will come up with a game plan of how best to steward the money God has given me. And how to best steward my time between picking up extra shifts and still having time to do what I love-planning weddings.
Anyone else caught in the middle? By the way...any ideas for the title of my book? : )

A day off? Who says?
Today I have the day off from the restaurant. Captain was hoping to have me all to himself for the day, but sorry, puppy. Not today.
So what am I doing? Laundry, Day-of timelines, and trying to find an inexpensive votive holder that passes fire regulation at Bellamy Mansion. They're pretty strict about how high the glass is above the actual flame of the candle. And with good reason. You can imagine how scary fire is to an antebellum mansion filled with antiques. But needless to say, it's kind of hard to find 24 pretty votive holders that are less than $2 each and pass regulation.

I've also been much inspired by Jess Cumbie to get my measly desk area organized! With only two weeks before the biggest wedding I've ever done on my own, I could use a little organization. I swear I don't know if I'm coming or going! Wish me luck!
Maybe captain will get a little lovin' in here and there. I'm also cooking dinner for 5 later tonight. Oh boy. Better yet...forget luck....say a prayer!
